I am compelled to put this information out here because i know it will be useful to you.
It happened that I wanted to book an appointment for a potential corporate client whose staff intend to travel for an official engagement abroad.

On getting to the visa application center, the next available date for his visa appointment is same day of his submission.
At that point, they had no option than to inform their foreign partner about the development and of course the planned trip was suspended.

The bottom line:
Early preparation for your travel is key and the very first step is making your travel plans. If this is done, you can expect the rest of the planning to be hitch free.
You can apply and have your visa 3 months before your travel date, most embassies allow it. So why put yourself under undue pressure of applying for a visa due to insufficient time or even deny yourself that holiday/vacation that you so desire?
Start your travel plan and preparations now!!! Another day of delay could rob you of that trip you’ve been looking forward to.
